The 14-D-2 Prayer Project is a prayer support ministry that focuses on lifting up those that serve in law enforcement, fire safety, and as emergency medical technicians. These first responders lay their lives on the line for us every day. 14-D-2 prayer partners are committed to daily praying for first responders in our communities and across the nation. They also take a moment to pray for those who respond, and everyone involved in an emergency, each time they hear a siren. We believe God works through prayer.
14-D-2 (14 David 2) was the radio call sign of Detective Jeremiah Mackay. Detective Mackay was ambushed in February 2013 by an individual who had murdered three people, including another police officer. Detective Mackay paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community and his fellow officers. He loved the Lord and his job, which allowed him to intervene and help those in need.
If you would like to become a prayer partner and be added to our prayer distribution list, we ask you to commit to daily praying for our first responders, and to pray every time you hear a siren. TO SIGN UP, OR SUBMIT A PRAYER REQUEST, PLEASE CLICK HERE. May the Lord bless all those that serve us.
